IBJJF General System of Belt Graduation

The Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Belt System is far stricter than in most other martial arts. It can take upwards of 10 years to achieve the black belt. The International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation (IBJJF) has clear guidelines on belt progression.
