ROOTS BJJ has just opened its doors inside the Brazilian Cultural Centre in Marrickville, bringing the very best of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu to the heart of the Inner West.

At our academy you will find a welcoming community and a full schedule of classes for all ages and skill levels, from complete beginners who have never stepped on the mat to advanced practitioners. We offer fundamentals classes, adult sessions, women-only training, teen and kids programs, as well as open mat sparring sessions.
Our children’s programs are especially popular. They help young students build confidence, discipline, motor skills and self-control, all in a fun and supportive environment. For the youngest members, ages three to five, we offer the Little Ninjas class where children learn basic movement, social skills and their first steps in Jiu-Jitsu through games and play.
